Disney+ is adding some additional Star Wars animation content to its digital library. It’s quite surprising since some of these shows have not been on television in ages!
First, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars comes to Disney+ in April. The series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during the conflict that erupted after Attack of the Clones between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The series first broadcast on Cartoon Network from 2003 until 2005, and this is the first time it will be available to watch legally since it debuted on DVD during those same years.

The Disney+ streaming service is also adding the Star Wars: Ewoks cartoon from the 1980s and a surprising Boba Fett short. They are adding the first appearance of Boba Fett, which took place in a cartoon short during the infamous 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. It’s the first time this cartoon has been allowed on a media platform in decades. Certainly worth watching for Star Wars fans!
