We recently visited Universal’s Islands of Adventure to see the brand new raptor statues placed at the new VelocoCoaster ride. The raptors are seen next to a sign for the new roller coaster opening this summer. Since our visit, the raptors have been unveiled.

The raptors are out of the plastic wrap. And the sign for the VelociCoaster is seen very clear.

There were several more dinosaurs placed around the area. We reported on two that will be the entrance of the ride. However, the two above seem to be where the ride will load.

With the raptors starting to be unveiled it seems the coaster is one step closer to being open. Unfortunately, no set opening date has been announced yet. We will continue to update any information about the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
