Race Themes Revealed for 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend

The race themes for the new 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend have been revealed! Taking place September 5-8, 2024, the Disneyland Resort will be conjuring up high spirits with four days of events for all skill levels including yoga, Kids Races, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Challenge, all themed to the Halloween season.

Disneyland Halloween 5K – Sept. 6, 2024

A Race That’s a Real Treat
Join Chip ‘n Dale as they host the delightful 2024 Disneyland Halloween 5K. This 3.1-mile trick-or-treat themed adventure through Disneyland Resort will be happy Halloween fun for everyone!

Disneyland Halloween 10K – Sept. 7, 2024

A Hauntingly Fun Run
Lace up for excitement as some Haunted Mansion inhabitants join spectral forces for the 2024 Disneyland Halloween 10K. For 6.2 miles through Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim area, be on the lookout for Hitchhiking Ghosts, the Hatbox Ghost, Singing Busts and more!

Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon – Sept. 8, 2024

Talk About Running Amok (Amok, Amok, Amok, Amok, Amok)
Prepare for a bit of “hocus-pocus” during the spellbinding 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon! Join the Sanderson Sisters (with Minnie Mouse as Winifred, Daisy Duck as Sarah, Clarabelle Cow as Mary and Figaro as Binx) as they host this 13.1-mile run through Disneyland Resort and the city of Anaheim.

“Git-R-Done” Runs for Younger Ones
Kids ages 9 and younger can start their engines (not that they ever stop) and “Git-R-Done” during our fun-filled runDisney® Kids’ Races hosted by favorites from Disney and Pixar’s Cars.

Chills & Thrills Challenge

The Run of Your Dreams…or Nightmares
Sign up for an event that’s nightmarish in the most wonderful of ways—the 2024 Chills & Thrills Challenge. Hosted by Jack Skellington, Sally and Zero from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, the challenge dares you to complete both the Disneyland Halloween 10K and the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon on pace, earning a special medal when you do.

Complete both the Disneyland Halloween 10K and Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon races on pace and earn:

Disneyland Halloween 10K medal
Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon medal
Chills & Thrills Challenge medal

That’s a grand total of 3 medals in one weekend! You’ll need to register for the Chills & Thrills Challenge––which includes both races––to be eligible for the challenge medal.

Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration for the event begins February 6, 2024, at 7:00 AM Pacific Time | 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
General Registration for the event opens February 13, 2024, at 7:00 AM Pacific Time | 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
