Disney has just released the proper Costume Guidelines for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios when it opens on August 29th.
Little ones aged 13 and under are welcome to wear costumes for their visit. This includes masks, as long as they provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.
Costumes and masks may not be worn by guests 14 and older (except when special event costume rules apply) See the photo above for some approved costume ideas.
Unfortunately dressing like your favorite Jedi, Stormtrooper or even putting on all that fur like Chewbacca is prohibited.
Please see the Walt Disney World Resort rules for guest attire for more information. During the season when Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party takes place, special event costume rules apply so adults may dress in costume if they are attending the party.
