Great news for fans of a legendary adventurer and archeologist! Indiana Jones 5 has officially wrapped filming.
On Sunday, producer Frank Marshall, husband of Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, revealed that filming on the fifth installment of the franchise had come to a close. Although there is no doubt still much work to be completed in post-production, it is a promising sign that the movie will be able to meet its 2023 release date.

The currently untitled fifth Indiana Jones movie will mark the first entry in the franchise not to be directed by Steven Spielberg. However, Spielberg and Indiana Jones co-creator George Lucas are executive producers. Also, the franchise is in capable hands, as “Logan” and “Walk the Line” director James Mangold is directing the film.
In addition to Harrison Ford, the cast of “Indiana Jones 5” includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Toby Jones.
“Indiana Jones 5” is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 30, 2023.
