New Product Lines Launch for Hit Disney Junior Series

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has launched an assortment of products inspired by Disney Junior’s hit series’ “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Doc McStuffins.” Popularity for both programs has generated strong consumer demand for merchandise lines that allow fans to take home their favorite characters.  Releasing now through 2013, the product lines are filled with creativity to inspire hours of imaginative play based on popular play patterns with preschool-aged kids. Products available this summer include colorful play sets, plush, and dolls, as well as party supplies, food and apparel.

Breakout hit “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,” a music-filled interactive treasure hunt that introduces a crew of kid pirates and follows their Never Land adventures, ranked as 2011’s #1 cable TV series for boys 2-5, a spot it continues to hold. The March premiere of “Doc McStuffins,” the imaginative animated series featuring six-year-old Doc McStuffins who communicates with and heals stuffed animals and toys out of her backyard playhouse clinic, ranks as the #1 preschool series launch in cable TV history among Adults 18-49.

  1. The Doctor’s bag kit right now is only available at Toys R Us (I checked every online store that sells toys that I could think of) and only available in stores. And only a select few states have them at the moment, we should know. We called 5 within 3 hours of where we live and none of them have them, yet we were told the same thing. It’s so new that no one has them yet.
