A Royal Celebration: Disney Princess Concert to Mark 70 Years of Disneyland This Friday
Today marks the start of World Princess Week, and Disney is celebrating with a variety of new offerings. A highlight is a spectacular princess concert performance at Disneyland Park, featuring the voices of some of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ most beloved princesses. The celebration also includes a new musical brand spot and a ride-along video with a Disney Legend. World Princess Week honors the incredible legacy of these princesses and their special connection with fans of all ages around the world.

Fans can enjoy a magical performance during the Disney Princess Concert: Celebrating 70 Years of Disneyland. This concert, which premieres on August 29 on YouTube and will later be available on Disney+, features the voices of some of Disney’s most beloved princesses. The star-studded lineup includes Auli’i Cravalho (Moana), Jodi Benson (Ariel), Paige O’Hara (Belle), and Anika Noni Rose (Tiana). Filmed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, the show will celebrate both World Princess Week and the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort.

Hosted by Ginnifer Goodwin (the voice of Judy Hopps in Zootopia) and Susan Egan (the original Broadway Belle from Beauty and the Beast and the voice of Megara in Hercules), the event brings these talented stars together for a spectacular performance. Viewers can look forward to a fantastic selection of classic Disney Princess music, all from The Happiest Place on Earth. It’s a celebration of the timeless stories and songs that have connected with generations of fans.
