Fast-casual chain Portillo’s is excited to announce that it will host the grand opening for its newest restaurant, located in The Village at O-Town West in Orlando, on March 2, 2020. The restaurant joins two other Florida Portillo’s, located in Tampa and Brandon. The restaurant, which sits at 7715 Palm Parkway, officially opens to the public at 10:30am.
“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in Florida and be part of such an iconic community,” said Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo. “This new restaurant will allow us to bring Portillo’s to long-time fans and first-time guests in the Orlando area, as well as serve the many tourists in one of the country’s most popular destinations.”
Portillo’s is now hiring in anticipation of the opening. On average, Portillo’s hires approximately 150 people for new restaurants. The restaurant is looking to fill a variety of hourly and shift leader positions. Details can be found at portillos.com/careers.
Once open, guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake. The 7,800-square-foot restaurant features double drive-thru lanes as well as two large covered outdoor patios. The interior features a diner theme, with an ode to rock ‘n roll with an electric guitar ceiling installation.
To help launch the new restaurant, Portillo’s designed a limited-edition t-shirt for this location. Guests are invited to sign up for Portillo’s Birthday Club to receive one of these shirts on opening day, while supplies last. Fans who sign up also receive a slice of Portillo’s homemade chocolate cake on their birthday.

Portillo’s looks to be about 10 minutes from the Walt Disney World so if you are visiting Disney you could take an Uber or Lyft over to get your Chicago-style hot dogs or Italian Beef!
Guests can also get a taste of Portillo’s before the new restaurant opens from the Portillo’s Beef Bus, which will serve Portillo’s famous Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, cheese fries and beverages. Beef Bus team members will wear masks; guests are required to wear facial coverings as well. Portillo’s will mark 6-foot distances in line, so guests can maintain social distancing.
