Hey there guys and gals, Anonymouse here! It’s a great day for more Disney gossip, don’t ya think? Well, good news, I have some insider information to share with you! This time, I had to travel a little farther to bring you this news, it’s all the way from Disneyland!

Disneyland will be making some changes to its policy on advanced dining reservations. As most of you know, most table-service locations at Walt Disney World require a credit-card guarantee to hold your reservation. If your party does not make it to your reservation, your credit card is charged $10 per person on the reservation. Until now, Disneyland has not required a credit card guarantee, but will now be adopting the same credit card guarantee as is required at Disney World.

Beginning on May 9, 2013, Disneyland will require guests making advanced dining reservations to provide a credit card guarantee for reservations made or modified for June 24, 2013 and after. Then, if the reservation is not cancelled at least one day in advance or the guest does not make it to the reservation, there will be a $10 charge per person.

What do you think of the new policy on advanced dining reservations at Disneyland?

Anonymouse searches the internet, annoys cast members, and wouldn’t think twice about using a Ouija board to find you the freshest Disney Gossip. Some of what she’ll report is confirmed, some is based on information from the rumor mill, and some, frankly, she just read on the bathroom wall in Fantasyland. So take it with a grain of salt and have fun!

  1. Interesting. Because I have only been to WDW twice, I didn’t know about this policy. I think it is a good one. What is to stop you from making a reservation and not showing up, thus preventing someone else from being able to get in? I think this will do the trick. They must have problems with it or why make the policy?
