Olivia's Cafe

While staying at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, you’ll want to visit Olivia’s Cafe.  Why?  Because here you will find a very unique dining experience on Disney property.  In a laid back, Key West atmosphere you will find yourself immersed in the culture that only Florida’s Key West can give you.  You can enjoy unique seafood dishes for breakfast and lunch.  And of course, some key lime tart for dessert.  This location is part of the Disney Dining Plan, and reservations are recommended.

Olivia’s offers a variety of menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  This is one of the only places on Disney property where you will find Conch Fritters and Banana Bread French Toast. You can find their full menu HERE.

Overall, we give Olivia’s Cafe an “A”.

  1. We just visited Olivias at the beginning of the month (Sept 2013). We had never eaten here before so with went in with no expectations EXCEPT to have a good meal. We were pleased with the food, cleanliness and service here.

We were using the DDP so our selections are limited to dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. For food selections we decided to try the conch fritters with 2 dipping sauces (remoulade and key lime mustard) as an appetizer (paid for separately). The fritters were about 2 bites each with small pieces of conch in them – I want to say there were maybe 10 small fritters in the serving. The texture seemed to be more of a corn/flour batter so they were not puffy as a regular clam cake would be.

Meals we had were Seared scallops served with creamy Polenta, Asparagus, Prosciutto Crisp, and Tomato Vinaigrette and Shrimp & Grits with sauteed shrimp & vegetable & tasso ham server with herb grits. Both entree were beautifully presented and their looked matched the taste. Very good.

We finished our meals with the Key Lime Tart with mango and raspberry sauce and the specialty dessert of the house Banana Bread Pudding Sundae with vanilla bean ice cream and a bananas foster topping. Two words for you “simply decadent”. I recommend and look forward to return on our next WDW adventure.

  2. I am visiting with my friend in August and we are looking forward to trying Olivia’s. The menu items sound delicious! Can’t wait!
