Pizza Planet and Pizza Planet Arcade at Hollywood Studios is scheduled to close January 19, 2016 for an extended refurbishment.

Hollywood Studios is adding Toy Story Land on the other side of the park, which leaves much speculation that the restaurant will be reopening with new theming. Refurbishment is scheduled to finish November 7, 2016.

  1. If a Toy Story Land is indeed planned, then it would make sense to re-theme the restaurant. But, with such a long closure, odds are it’s going to be a change in service type as well. With so much construction going on at the WDW property, it’s a good thing we’ve postponed our family trip a few years. We did visit this part as Disney MGM Studios in 2007. With all the changes, it sounds like it’s going to almost end up being a mostly different park when we finally can get there again!
