Disney-Pixar’s Onward is finding success in its quest at the box office.
Onward is a family film featuring a magical of fantasy and mythological creatures with a modern twist. The new film has earned $40 million for its opening at the box office. Since the film is charming so many moviegoers, Onward is on track to take first place for this weekend’s box office.
It’s a first for Pixar to release a new movie in the early spring season. All of the previous Pixar films were released either in the summer season or during the month of November.
Pixar’s Onward follows the adventures of two young elf brothers, Ian Lightfoot (Tom Holland) and Barley Lightfoot (Chris Pratt). Together, Ian and Barley embark upon a magical quest to find a spell that will allow them to see their father. Onward is a family adventure film set in a world of fantasy and magic. The movie offers a great story about family and the bond between two brothers.
Onward’s voice cast includes Hollywood talent such as Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.
Onward is currently playing in movie theaters, so check your local cinema for showtimes.
