Pixar's 'Monsters at Work' Rumored To Release on Disney+ This March

Pixar’s ‘Monsters at Work’ Rumored To Release on Disney+ This March. During the 2019 D23 Expo, Disney shared a whole bunch of new content coming to their new streaming service, Disney+. Many titles included:Star Wars The Mandalorian, a Lizzie McGuire Reboot, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but many Pixar fans were excited to hear the development of a new spin-off series from the Monsters Inc franchise, called Monsters at Work.

A premise for the series shared that Monsters at Work takes place 6 months after the events of Monsters Inc. and will follow the journey of the monster world adapting to using laughter energy instead of scream energy. The shows protagonist, Tylor Tuskmon, is a recent graduate from MU and was Monsters University’s Top Scarer of his graduating class, but what will Tylor do with his now “useless” degree?

The series has yet to receive a formal release date, and was left out of the 2020 Disney+ Super Bowl Commercial, despite being announced as a 2020 released title in the past. The folks at What’sNextOnDisneyPlus seem to believe Monsters at Work will premiere in March 2020, to help bridge the gap between Star Wars The Mandalorian and Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The cast includes the return of many iconic characters, as well as some newcomers to the franchise. Cast for the series so far includes: Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (Sully), Ben Feldman (Tylor Tuskmon), John Ratzenberger (Yeti), Jennifer Tilly (Celia Mae), Bob Peterson (Roz), Kelly Marie Tran (Val Little), Henry Winkler, Lucas Neff, Alanna Ubach (Cutter), Stephen Stanton (Needleman) and Aisha Tyler.
