Pixar is giving us a small bite about the “Finding Dory” story line. The movie, which now has a release date of June 17, 2016 (still over 1 1/2 years away) will focus on Dory. We already know it will be about Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) and Marlin’s adventures on their search to find her family.
We also heard Pixar is working on a new ending after all the chaos over the movie “Blackfish”, but up until now we did not have much else. Well get ready for a bite of news – it looks like, according to Pixar President, Jim Morris, that Dory was born and raised at the Marine Biology Institute of California before being released into the ocean.
This will open up a new world with lots of new characters. Dory’s parents, Charlie and Jenny voiced by Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton and Ty Burrell voicing a Beluga whale have already been added to the cast. And it sounds like the original cast will still be a part of the movie, but with the Marine Biology Institute plot, we can only imagine the new friends and family, Dory will meet.
It’s gonna be a long wait for this Dory fan.

Unfortunately, the Blackfish incident affected everyone and therefore Disney I’m sure wants to make sure that Finding Dory will represent the Marine life correctly and accurately since the theme of this movie has Dory being born at the Marine Institute. Just my personal opinion.
what does the mess with Blackfish have to do with Dory?
