“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” officially opens in theaters nationwide today, May 26. In celebration of the movies opening, Walt Disney World has released a bounty of new merchandise.
One item that is sure to be a big hit is the new Captain Jack Sparrow costume which includes a dress coat with faux brass buttons, a blue and gold vest, multiple belts, and cropped pants. A separate Jack Sparrow Costume Accessory Set (top right) is available for the pint-sized fans. Little pirates will love the sword, scabbard, and Jack’s mysterious compass, which we understand plays a big part in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”
All sizes, from kids to adults, can choose from a variety of new t-shirt styles featuring Captain Jack Sparrow, the film’s logo, and the classic skull and crossbones. Pin collectors will be happy to know that Disney has also released three open-edition pins and one limited-release pin (the skull logo).
A limited-edition “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”-themed MagicBand is available to Walt Disney World guests. The blue band is complete with the film’s logo, plus one of Captain Salazar’s creatures.
These and additional pirates merchandise also may be available on the Shop Disney Parks app.
