On Fridays, this past month, and continuing until next Friday, Disney Springs is featuring a special Culinary Demo, and each week, after the demo we get to enjoy lunch. This week’s choice was a call back to the second Culinary Demo with the Polite Pig.
Can I just start this off by saying how much we truly love The Polite Pig, with that being said, our review is gonna be tainted by our love, but that won’t make a difference because it is just good BBQ!

We had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Cauliflower, and Burnt Ends Chili, with the seasonal drink Saint Augustine Bourbon. First, it must be said that the chicken sandwich was massive. We did not realize how much chicken was used in each dish. it did not disappoint, as the sweet and smokey BBQ and the slaw and pickles mixed so well together. Yes, it is a messy sandwich, so just ask for some wet wipes.
The BBQ Cauliflower with Paprika Sour Cream and Candied Pepitas is a perfect combo for this dish. We have decided that the polite pig does veggies perfectly. Doesnt matter if it is the Cauliflower or the Brussel Sprouts, they are perfect!
We capped off our dish with the Polite Baked Beans with Burnt Ends, Tomato, and Sausage. I feel like we became glutinous at this point. Seriously, I did not realize the chicken sandwich was going to be so big!
Overall, Polite Pig still scores at the top of whatever ranking system you would like to impose on it. I hate ranking things, so let us just say on your next trip here to Walt Disney World, make sure to visit the Polite Pig and enjoy your time with the family over some good BBQ!
