It is officially the end of an era as Disney started the process last week of demolishing DisneyQuest, the former indoor amusement park located next to Cirque du Soleil at Disney Springs. DisneyQuest officially closed its doors on July 2, 2017 to make way for the new NBA Experience venue which is slated to open at Disney’s downtown shopping district in the Summer of 2019.
Here’s a closer look at the demolition happening to the current building.

No word yet on how long the demolition work will take place before construction begins on the new arena-shaped building that will be home to the NBA Experience. We will keep you posted as and when more details are revealed.
