PHOTOS: Adventures by Disney Iceland Vacation Highlights

Previously I brought you the exciting news that Adventures by Disney had added an all-new Iceland vacation to their long list of exciting itineraries. Today I wanted to show you photos of some of the first guests enjoying this amazing adventure.

Adventurers started off their vacations with some serious relaxation at the Blue Lagoon near the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik. This extraordinary experience includes a silica mud mask, sauna and steam rooms and a man-made waterfall that melts away any jet lag.

Also, close by to the capital is the iconic, and hard to pronounce, Hallgrímskirkja, the largest church in Iceland.

On the second day of the Adventures by Disney Iceland vacation guests were invited to saddle up and ride through the scenic south-west coast on an Icelandic Horse, just like the Vikings who introduced this unique breed to Iceland.

You don’t have to visit a Disney theme park to see the elusive backside of water. Iceland is known for its abundance of awe-inspiring waterfalls. Pictured above is guest hiking behind the falls at Seljalandsfoss.

The next day adventurers got a little silly with the photos as they set out on their amazing glacier hike excursion exploring Skaftafell Glacier. Don’t worry glacier expert guide accompanies you every step of the way.

Next up, a boat ride amongst the massive icebergs broken off from Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier, now adrift on the iconic Jökulsárlόn Glacier Lagoon.
