The gang from Phineas and Ferb have struck gold again with a new spin on an epic tale. Out today is the Retold and ReFerbished story of Phineas and Ferb Star Wars IV: A New Hope. This movie from start to finish was a pleasure to watch not only for kids, but even for us scruffy looking Nerf Herders.
My daughters are huge fans of Phineas and Ferb and probably watched this DVD no less than 10 times this past weekend. The movie is an interesting twist on the original 1970’s movie and I believe a true homage to this classic tale. Since they have never seen the original it was also an open door to get them to watch it!
In true Phineas and Ferb fashion the guys even include some great musical numbers. Check them out below.
My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD and while the movie is short, Disney was nice enough to include some bonus features and programs to help make the Phineas and Ferb Star Wars goodness last a little bit longer. The carbonite key-chain is on my keys as I right this article.
Overall if you are a Star Wars Nerd or Phineas and Ferb Fan you will want to add this DVD to your Disney Movie Library. This would make a great stocking stuffer and is available pretty much everywhere.
