Phineas and Ferb drop by Disneyland

Phineas and Ferb may not have any idea what theyâ€™re doing for summer vacation, but they know how theyâ€™re spending their Christmas break: â€œWeâ€™re going to Disneyland.â€

The perpetually bored stepbrothers from the Disney Channelâ€™s â€œPhineas and Ferbâ€ animated show turned up as costumed characters at Disneyland this week for a taping of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade, which airs Dec. 25 on ABC.

It was the first time that the costumed characters have appeared in a Disney theme park, officials said.

No word yet on whether Candace the snoopy sister or Perry the pet platypus will be making an appearance in the park any time soon.
