The scene, which debuted on August 16th, 2024, showcases a harvest celebration where Tiger Lily and her great-grandmother perform by a fire. This update comes after the ride’s temporary closure in July for planned maintenance, during which Disney took the opportunity to evolve the storytelling surrounding the Never Land Tribe.
The new scene aims to provide a more respectful and culturally sensitive representation of the indigenous people of Never Land. This change reflects Disney’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and cultural awareness in its attractions and storytelling.
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom can now experience this reimagined scene as part of their journey on Peter Pan’s Flight, adding a new layer of depth and cultural understanding to this classic attraction.
