Peter Pan’s Flight Mural Update is now complete in the Magic Kingdom. As part of the Reimagine, Tomorrow endeavor Bob Chapek said “Disney To achieve the lasting, meaningful change we must all work together, and we want this to be a place where people from all walks of life, socio-economic backgrounds, and belief systems can gather and learn from one another, showcase their creative talents, and celebrate the wonderful differences that make every individual truly special.”
One of those changes happened at the Peter Pan’s Flight ride in Walt DIsney World’s Magic Kingdom. On the Map mural, previously, there was a section labeled “Indian Camp”. The mural has now been repainted to say “Neverland Tribe”
Small Changes, but all these small changes are adding up and making sure Disney continues with the Reimagine Tomorrow and be more culturally sensitive. We don’t need to go into why this change was needed, but it was a chance for Disney to do better.

At Disney, inclusion is for everyone.
Reimagine Tomorrow is our way of amplifying underrepresented voices and untold stories as well as championing the importance of accurate representation in media and entertainment. Because we are all greater than a single story and we all deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood.
