The photo reveals a warm embrace between Pascal, who portrays the brilliant and elastic Reed Richards, and Vanessa Kirby, cast as the enigmatic Sue Storm. Their on-screen counterparts, Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, are known for their close relationship, and the image hints at a strong dynamic between the actors.

Joining the group photo is Emmy-winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who’ll portray the ever-lovable Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. With arms wrapped around both Kirby and Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn, he perfectly captures the camaraderie of the Fantastic Four. Quinn, cast as the fiery Johnny Storm/Human Torch, completes the core team in this eagerly anticipated Marvel film.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has confirmed that The Fantastic Four will be a period piece set in the 1960s. However, he’s added a layer of intrigue by suggesting it might not be the same 1960s we’re familiar with. A promotional image showcasing Johnny Storm in full flame mode has sparked fan speculation about the film’s unique setting. Feige playfully acknowledged that eagle-eyed viewers have noticed the cityscape doesn’t quite match our historical records.

The Fantastic Four has been brought to life on the big screen twice before. The first cinematic iteration, released in 2005 and 2007, featured Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, and a pre-Captain America Chris Evans. The second attempt, a 2015 film titled FANT4STIC, starred Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, and Michael B. Jordan, who would later become the iconic MCU villain, Killmonger.
