  1. We’re planning on getting married at Disney World. Not sure which location yet, but after our last visit, I realized it’d just be perfect. And a whole lot less stressful than doing a wedding at home. 🙂

  2. Went to Disney for our Honeymoon. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and were treated like royalty. Gift Baskets and free desserts for dinner. Signed card from Mickey and Minnie. It was wonderful. Have been back many times would love to stay there again. The best place to spend a honeymoon.

  3. We were thinking about doing a vow renewal for our 10 year anniversary. Disney seems like a great place to do this at!

  4. We got married in our hometown in upstate NY nearly 8 years ago (our anniversary is in 16 days!) We wanted to go to Disney for our honeymoon, but didn’t b/c I was expecting and wouldn’t have been able to go on the rides. We said we go together, just the two of us, someday. So here we are, 8 years, 2 kids and 3 family trips to Disney later, and we still haven’t taken a honeymoon! Maybe for our 10th annivesary… or maybe if I had a certain book about honeymooning in Disney, I could use it to persuade my husband that it’s time we went! ; D

  5. We got married locally and honeymooned on a cruise so no Disney, but we’re leaving in 4 weeks for close to our 20th trip there!

  6. We got married here at home with a Disney themed wedding, then we were off to WDW for our honeymoon! We also took my mom and my brother with us, yes on our honeymoon…they had never been and just like now we love sharing our Disney adventures with our loved ones!!

  7. April 16, 2005 we were married here in our hometown! Early the next morning we were on a plane to MCO! We wanted to do things on this trip that we normally didn’t do since it was just the two of us! So we took the Backstage Magic Tour! We met at our tour guide at EPCOT in front of guest relations. Everyone introduced themselves and we never led on that this was our honeymoon! We were just excited and ready to see backstage!

Our lunch stop was at Disney’s MGM Studios at the time! The restaurant was Mama Melrose!! We had an assortment of everything from the menu! During the course of lunch everyone asked questions and complimented on the food! At some point a handful of servers came to the table with glasses of Champagne for the entire group. They also came out with a dessert just for the two of us. Our Tour guide stood at the end of the table where he was sitting and announced that there was a newlywed couple in the group today! He made a toast, everyone raised their glass and congratulated us! We were in shock!! Like I said before, we never told anyone or led on that we were just married!

Later in the day I asked him how they knew. He simply smiled and says it is Disney Magic!!

Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife! Love you!!

  8. My husband and I never had a real wedding. We went to the JOP at the courthouse. I have thought about doing a little renewal for our 10 year anniversary at Disney World.
