Paid Preferred Parking Added to Disney Springs Beginning June 1

Beginning June 1 Disney Springs guests will have the option to purchase preferred parking in two select lots for $10. The two preferred lots will include the Grapefruit Lot, located on the West Side, and the Lemon Parking Lot, located closest to Marketplace.

In addition to these paid parking locations, Disney Springs also offers complimentary parking in two parking garages located adjacent to the restaurants and shops. Construction began in April on a third parking garage and a pedestrian bridge. This new parking structure will be located next to the Walt Disney World Casting building on Buena Vista Drive across the street from Disney Springs. Construction is expected to be completed in 2019.

Will you utilize the preferred parking at Disney Springs? Let us know in the comment box below.

  1. If you have a handicap placard from Massachusetts it should be fine here in Florida also. We have a blue one that we hang on our mirror that goes anywhere with us, even Nova Scotia! I would contact your department of motor vehicles to see how you can get one to bring with you. We had to fill out a form and have our doctor sign it, took it to the DMV and got it that day. Good Luck!!

  2. Do any of these preferred lots have handicap access or no? I’m going to need to be somewhere close enough to west side marketplace venues there. I do not have a handicap plate or card for Florida – we’re visiting but I have it in my home state of Mass. how can you help me out?
