Owen Wilson will Star in Disney’s Haunted Mansion

We have exciting news… Owen Wilson will be joining the cast of Disney’s Haunted Mansion movie!

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

Justin Simien, who previously directed Dear White People and Bad Hair, is making his big-budget studio debut by directing the feature project from a script by Katie Dippold. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who produced Disney’s billion-dollar-grossing live-action remake of Aladdin, are producing.

So far there aren’t many details as far as a storyline goes but we know it will be based off the fan-favorite attraction the Haunted Mansion just like the recent Jungle Cruise movie staring The Rock.

Owen Wilson is no stranger to Disney Movies & TV shows. He is known for voicing Lightning McQueen in the Disney/Pixar Cars film series and Mobius M. Mobius in the series Loki for Disney+.

Filming is expected to start in Atlanta in October.
