Several Orlando Pride players recently took a well-deserved break from their undefeated start to the NWSL season to celebrate National Water Park Day and National Soccer Day on Sunday, July 28. They made a splash at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, enjoying a day filled with relaxation, team spirit, and thrilling attractions.

Forwards Summer Yates, Ally Watt, and Mariana Larroquette; goalkeepers Sofia Manner and McKinley Crone; and defender Celia Jiménez Delgado enjoyed a day at the tropical oasis-themed water park at Walt Disney World Resort. Located just a short drive from their team headquarters, Typhoon Lagoon offered the perfect setting for a day of relaxation and team bonding before they resume their competitive season.

Typhoon Lagoon is renowned as one of the nation’s most popular water parks, featuring attractions for all ages, including North America’s largest wave pool. The park also offers a variety of restaurant-style food and beverage options, ensuring guests can refuel and refresh throughout their visit. During the summer, Typhoon Lagoon hosts H2O Glow After Hours, a nighttime glow-in-the-dark party that adds an extra layer of fun.
