Authorities Investigating Apparent Suicide at Disney’s Contemporary Resor
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an individual at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which has been ruled an apparent suicide.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a deceased person at approximately 6:40 p.m. The location was reported along North World Drive, in the vicinity of the Magic Kingdom area resorts.
Multiple sheriff’s units and emergency vehicles responded to the scene. According to eyewitness reports, a service entrance at the Contemporary Resort was secured with crime scene tape while authorities conducted their investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office later confirmed to news outlets that the incident is an apparent suicide.
No further details regarding the individual have been officially released.
