Orange County Sheriff’s Department release a statement concerning woman’s death at Disney World

Officials with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Contemporary Resort around 4 p.m. after people reported seeing someone jump from the building.

About an hour ago the Orange County Sheriff’s Department released a statement concerning the woman’s death at Disney World.

“ON 3/4/2020 AT ABOUT 4 P.M., DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE CONTEMPORARY RESORT AFTER A CALL CAME IN ABOUT SOMEONE WHO MAY HAVE JUMPED OFF THE BUILDING. DEPUTIES AND REEDY CREEK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT RESPONDED AND FOUND A FEMALE, UNRESPONSIVE, WHO WAS LATER PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE. AT THIS TIME, WE BELIEVE THIS WAS A SUICIDE, AND WE HAVE NO FURTHER INFORMATION TO RELEASE.”
