Disney Wedding

Jason and Garrett exchanged vows in front of their friends and family dressed as Buzz and Woody from Disney’s “Toy Story” Movie. It was their Dream Wedding they said. Not only did they dress like Disney Characters but all of their guests joined in on the fun and dressed in character as well. They get an A+ for crowd participation, even their guest’s children and their dog dressed for the occasion!

The planning process took Jason and Garrett a year to complete. They worked hard creating all of their decor, centerpieces, and flowers for the wedding themselves! They sprinkled their pixie dust on each table theming them after a different Disney movie, everything from classics like “The Little Mermaid” and “Cinderella” to newer films such as “Coco” and “Moana” was represented. VHS boxes were the table names and numbers. Even the Seating cards were admission tickets to the “Movie” theme where they were seated. The adorable “Drink me” goblets were a great touch! The Signature drink was a Mai Tai for their love of Tiki bars. They certainly had quite a spark of inspiration! Lucky for them Jason is a graphic designer which he was inspired to become from his love of Disney art, and the Imagineers. The Couple is now “obsessed” with going to Disney together they say.

Disney Wedding

This couple loves to have great parties, and certainly from the looks of it threw a very fun wedding. Their favorite holiday being Halloween, they usually have a  costume party each year. It’s no wonder they were able to pull off a great in-character wedding with their friends and family. They also met at another holiday party one New Year’s Eve, and they were not the only ones. Garrett’s parents coincidentally also met on New Year’s Eve! Call it Destiny or call it Fate!

There was no detail that wasn’t thematic,  their cake even had the silhouettes of Buzz and Woody, which they stated align with their personalities. Even their first dance was to “You Got a Friend in Me“, which resonates with their relationship. Of course, they had it choreographed and had the song recomposed in a jazzy spanish style, making sure they could dance a mix of the salsa, tango, pasa doble and, a little foxtrot to boot!
