‘Ohana mean Family and that is what you will be treated like dining there for breakfast or dinner!
On our recent trip I had booked ‘Ohana for dinner at the 180 day mark; we had been here a few years ago and couldn’t wait to return! We got a Sunday evening reservation at 6:30 for the four of us. A couple months later my best friend’s family decided to join us on vacation and we were thrilled, so I got them booked and worked on revising all our dining reservations. I had luck with all but one…dinner at Ohana 🙁 so it can be very important to book those special reservations ASAP!
We did a little compromise, we kept our dinner reservation and I was able to score a breakfast reservation for later in the week for all 9 of us at ‘Ohanafor Lilo & Stitch’s Breakfast!
So let’s see how the two stacked up!
Both meals here are served family style and they keep the food coming! Let’s start with a review of Breakfast.
When you arrive your group will have a picture taken which you can buy later at breakfast or if you buy the Photo Pass Plus like we did they will give a receipt and you can stop at any counter Photo passand have it loaded on your disk!
When you sit down you are given sweet breads, Lilikoi Juice and fruit plates. You can then order drinks and if you’re a coffee drinker then by all means order a cup here! The hit of all the drinks is the never-ending Lilikoi Juice…oh my goodness its sooooo good, every single person at our table loved it and we were brought plenty of it!
Then the big platter of breakfast foods arrive, Scrambled eggs, Pork Sausage, Bacon, Biscuits and Seasoned Potatoes! Then another server would bring around a big bowl of Mickey Waffles and give you one at a time, which was our only “gripe” of the entire breakfast with 4 kids in our group they could have eaten the bowl of Mickey Waffles all by themselves.
Waffles issue aside all the food was fantastic we enjoyed plenty of it as they keep it coming the entire time. The characters here Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey and they all spent ample time at our table taking pictures, signing autographs and just goofing around. Also they do a parade for kids, giving them maracas’ and its lead by the characters.
All in all this meal got 2 thumbs up from everyone in our party and we would all go back in a heartbeat!
Onto to our dinner at ‘Ohana~ Once again it is served family style and lots of it!
First you are brought Pineapple-Coconut Bread& Mixed Greens Salad with Mango-Poppy Seed Dressing, along with warm towels (for what comes next). Honey Coriander Chicken Wings& Pork fried dumplings with three dipping sauces, House Made Peanut Sauce, Chimichurri Sauce and a Pineapple Sweet and Sour Sauce are brought next. Along with those or around the same time they also bring a Lo-Mein noodle dish as well as Broccoli with some smaller veggies added in.
Now we could have been perfectly happy with all of these, we all had our favorites and was content to just keep munching away…but then came, Oak Grilled Chicken, Asian Barbecued Pork Loin, Marinated Sirloin Steak and Spicy Grilled Peel – n – Eat Shrimp! Yes this is a foodiesdinner come true 🙂 They keep it coming and you can have refills of anything. Our service was also top-notch extremely friendly! And let us not forget the dessert…Warm Bread Pudding Served with a Warm Caramel Sauce and a big side of Vanilla Ice Cream, Yum-O! A perfect ending to a perfect dinner!
They also do a parade for the kids but no characters at dinner time~ The MC ask about birthdays, anniversaries and anything else you may be celebrating and makes it entertaining.
Again ‘Ohana got two thumbs up from us! It is a great place to dine for breakfast or dinner with lots of great food, entertainment and wonderful service! If you haven’t already on your next trip make plans to go to Ohana!

I love ‘Ohana for breakfast! Haven’t been for dinner yet, but I can’t wait to try it.
This is still somewhere my family has not eaten before. I tried to talk them into it for this trip but still no takers.
I love it!! My son is now 13 and always thinks he is “to big” but when we get there he joins right in!
We agree! Thanks for sharing 🙂
O’hana dinner is an absolute must-do for our trips! We crave it all year…
O’hana breakfast is a Disney tradition for us! We love the food and the atmosphere. A couple of years ago, my now 12 year told me she thought she was too old for the march around the restaurant. I told her she didn’t have to do it, if she didn’t want to. Well, Mickey came and got her and walked arm and arm with her around the place! She just beamed…I mean, doesn’t matter how old you are, how can you turn down Mickey????
