Oga’s Cantina Returns to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge
Batuu is buzzing! After closing its doors in late January, Oga’s Cantina officially reopened on Friday, March 13, 2026. The iconic watering hole underwent a brief renovation to prepare for the upcoming timeline expansion at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This shift means the outpost will soon welcome legendary characters from across the entire Star Wars saga, moving beyond its original fixed era.

The refreshed Oga’s Cantina is looking better than ever, from the polished finishes to the atmospheric fog effects. Most notably, DJ R-3X’s new dialogue confirms the changing of the guard; all First Order references have been scrubbed in anticipation of the Empire’s arrival on April 29th.

The expansion of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to transform the land into a living tribute to the entire saga. Beyond the arrival of legendary characters from across the timeline, the atmosphere will be heightened by the iconic scores of John Williams echoing through the outposts. To ensure total immersion, various environmental elements throughout the land are being updated to seamlessly reflect these evolving storylines.
