Disneyland’s Oga’s Cantina to Discontinue Advance Reservations

Great news for travelers to Batuu! Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland has officially transitioned its booking policy. As of today, August 19, 2025, the cantina will no longer offer new advance reservations.

For those looking to visit the popular Star Wars bar, Oga’s Cantina is now transitioning to a walk-up, standby-only system. This means that new reservations are no longer being offered; guests will need to join a virtual or physical queue to enter. If you already have an existing reservation, don’t worry—your booking will still be honored.

The message on the Disneyland website reads:

“Incoming transmission: Beginning August 19, Oga’s Cantina will transition to walk-up availability with a traditional standby queue and will no longer offer new reservations. Any existing reservations will be honored.”

At Oga’s Cantina, guests should be aware that their party’s visit is limited to 45 minutes. This policy is in effect at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World locations. However, a key difference remains: only the Oga’s Cantina at Walt Disney World is still offering advance reservations for guests.
