D-Luxe Burger

D-Luxe Burger opened at Disney Springs Town Center one week ago.  The counter-service style eatery offers unique burgers, french fries, desserts, alcoholic or non-alcoholic shakes, and a multitude of other beverages.  There is seating indoors as well as outdoors on a porch-like patio.

I was one in a party of six. We arrived at noon to discover they were not opening until 12:30pm.  We decided to wait in the line because we were at Walt Disney World and isn’t that we are supposed to do?  We reviewed the menu and decided we would try four of the six burger options to get a decent perspective on the quality of the food.  You order a-la-carte so we ordered three large fries to share along with a variety of dipping sauces to dip the fries in.  We asked for cups of water and also purchased a couple of salted caramel shakes.

We cut the burgers to share and taste.  I tried the Classic Cheeseburger and the Veggie Burger.  I found the Classic Cheeseburger to be quite greasy.  They cook all the burgers to medium but we agreed they were more like medium-rare so you may want to adjust and ask them to cook to your taste.  The Veggie Burger was good and I particularly liked the green bean salad on top.  Everyone else in my party liked the Barbecue Classic Burger the best.  The least favorite choice amongst our party was the El Diablo Burger.  We all enjoyed the french fries with dipping sauces and found the fries to be quite good.  Our favorite dipping sauces were the Garlic Ranch and the Buffalo Bleu Cheese. My absolute personal favorite menu item was the Salted Caramel Shake with Black Hawaiian Sea Salt.

The meal was quite filling and none of us felt the need to have dinner later that evening so we had dessert instead.  With all of the wonderful food options at Disney Springs we are not sure if we will choose to have another meal here.  We found the pricing for a burger and fries to be a bit high for the actual quality of the meal but if you are on the Disney Dining Plan the one Quick Service Credit is perfect!  For us, we will likely stop by for fries and a shake at some future date.  As always, food is a matter of taste and preference and if you are a burger aficionado you may really enjoy the unique offerings at D-Luxe Burger.
