This does not mean that no attractions or custodial cast members will lose their jobs at Walt Disney World. This only means that part-time attractions and custodial cast members belonging to UNITE HERE! Local 362 will not be included in the recent Disney layoffs.
Just a few weeks ago, Disney announced that there will be 28,000 layoffs across The Walt Disney Company. Those layoffs include cast members at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
