For sports, the basketball association delivered good news for the NBA players on Monday. The basketball league announced that all NBA players were tested and zero came back positive.
The NBA did release the following public statement:

“Of the 346 players tested for COVID-19 on the NBA campus since test results were last announced on July 13, zero have returned confirmed positive tests.
In the event that a player on the NBA campus returns a confirmed positive test in the future, he will be isolated until he is cleared for leaving isolation under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association.”
Of course, this is great news for the sports teams in Orlando. The NBA’s Orlando bubble appears to be working ahead of games being played. The first scrimmages begin today and sports are excited to see the season resume.
It may not be the season basketball fans were expecting to see, but at least the games will continue at Walt Disney World. The teams are playing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The league is being careful with the coronavirus pandemic by continuing the games under new health and safety guidelines. It’ll be interesting to see how the season wraps up at Disney World.
