As a child of the 80’s who grew up playing Nintendo I am excited to tell you the amazing news! Nintendo and Universal Parks & Resorts announced today their plans to bring the world of Nintendo to life at Universal theme parks. Crazy, I know!!!
Can you imagine what spectacular attractions these two storytelling giants will create based on Nintendo’s wildly popular games, characters and worlds. I would love a Mario Chart ride. What Nintendo game would you like to see brought to life at Universal Parks & Resorts?
This agreement will bring the two icons of entertainment together and represents a very significant partnership for Nintendo as it expands to reach more fans. It’s popularity of its characters and intellectual property will create an amazing experience for all, even those that are just now being introduced to Nintendo.
I’m incredibly excited that now for the first time my favorite stories and characters will be brought to life in amazing new ways and only at Universal theme parks.
As more details are announced I’ll bring them to you. I’m sure that once the Nintendo and Universal creative teams get started working to create specific concepts we’ll get little teases here and there. So stay tuned!
