Nighttime Lights and Music Testing Underway for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Exciting news from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: Project team members were recently spotted putting the nighttime experience through its paces with a test ride under the stars! The nighttime test included all of the exterior lighting elements and the “Down in New Orleans” ride music!

This is a huge step toward the ride being ready for opening, as the exterior lighting effects and nighttime elements are a critical component of the attraction. We are rapidly moving toward the Summer 2024 opening of the ride, and it appears imagineers will have Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ready to roll on time!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up right after the beloved “The Princess and the Frog” film. Guests will join Princess Tiana and the jazz-loving alligator Louis as they gear up for a vibrant Mardi Gras celebration. The exciting boat ride will take you on a journey through the heart of the bayou, where you’ll encounter familiar faces from the movie and make some new friends along the way.
