Calling all unicorn fans. The Polynesian Resort has been home to some fun new treats lately, with the latest being is this adorable Unicorn Cupcake. This fun new snack can be found at the Kona Island upstairs next to the Kona Cafe. The Kona Island has been pumping out some fun snacks including the Stitch Dome Cake and some incredible Chocolate Bacon. We got to try this pretty and delicious cupcake and we were not disappointed.
The Unicorn Cupcake is listed as a seasonal cupcake and is $5.99 plus tax. You can also use a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. The cupcake itself is a confetti cake with a think layer of frosting surrounding it. It reminded me more of a cake pop than a cupcake. The horn is a blue ice cream cone which is just for color. It’s not flavored. The frosting decorations are what make this Unicorn treat so adorable. It was a nice dessert after a dinner at the Polynesian Resort.
The seasonal cupcakes have been known to change frequently so make sure you stop by the Kona Island to try this one out. The Unicorn Cupcake may not have been a wow factor with flavor like some Disney cupcakes but it was good. However, what it lacked in taste wow factor it makes up with looks. It was such a cute and Instagram worthy dessert.
