Last month Disney released a sneak peek of two new Dooney & Bourke collections launching this month at Disney Parks. On July 22, a release party will be held in the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs for these two new collections.
Not only will there be the new collections, but guests can also meet Ian Ray, Creative Director for Dooney & Bourke from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 22.
The first collection will be the second release of the ‘Dream Big, Princess’ collection. Tiana will be the second princess feature after Belle from earlier this year. The new tote has a large single image instead of a repeating image, so that each tote will look the same. A repeating pattern will still be on the top and bottom of the tote. I love the full design because it really captures the essence of Tiana.
In addition to the Tote, there will also be a Crossbody and Foldover Crossbody available. These will feature the all over repeating Tiana pattern.
The second collection releasing this month is inspired by The Haunted Mansion attraction. We’ve seen Haunted Mansion Dooneys before, but these purple handbags will feature Madame Leota! Other recognizable icons from the popular Disney attraction will also be mixed throughout the repeating pattern design. These purses will have contrasting black leather accents, and silver toned hardware.
The new Madame Leota inspired Haunted Mansion design will also be featured on a new MagicBand! These will come in a specially designed box and have all the benefits of regular MagicBand2s.
With the exception of the MagicBand the new Tiana and Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke Collections will be releasing at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World July 22nd.
