New ‘The Simpsons‘ Short Film Will Premiere Before Pixar’s ‘Onward‘. Disney and Fox announce the first cross over of Fox content with an all new short film, Playdate of Destiny. According to The Simpsons verified Instagram account, the short film, starring Maggie Simpson, will premiere before Disney-Pixar’s ‘Onward‘ in theaters only!

It seems almost too perfect that The Simpsons would be the bridge between Disney and Fox content as more contents begins to be incorporated between the two studios.
