EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion is once again under construction, as a new permit has been filed for upcoming enhancements. The permit, which carries the typically vague description of “Install Set Elements,” has been assigned to Icarus Exhibits. This long-time Disney vendor is known for its expertise in custom theming for immersive environments, having recently contributed to projects such as TRON Lightcycle Run, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Toy Story Land.

Despite the Canada Pavilion just completing a significant exterior refurbishment, construction walls have reappeared, signaling more changes on the horizon. The area currently being worked on is at the Hotel du Canada, a section of the building that has been off-limits to guests for years, adding an air of mystery to what might be happening behind the scenes.

While Disney has not yet announced what these enhancements will entail, the involvement of Walt Disney Imagineering suggests that the project could result in a new guest-facing space. Speculation is rife, with possibilities ranging from a new exhibit to the addition of a bar or lounge area. As EPCOT continues its transformation, fans eagerly await more details on how the Canada Pavilion will be enhanced to offer even more immersive experiences for visitors.
