New Permit filed for demolition of Spirt of Aloha Building!
The Spirit of Aloha building at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be demolished soon to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club tower at the resort.

A permit has recently been filed for the demolition of the Spirit of Aloha building as well as the nearby costuming building. The permit calls for “utility isolation and demo” of both buildings. D.H. Griffen Wrecking Co, Inc. is the contractor listed on the permit.
The new DVC tower coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is scheduled to open sometime in late 2024.
