The Muppets hold a special place in my heart. My favorite show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Muppet*Vision 3D. I grew up watching Muppet Babies and, when I was older, the Muppets. (Have I mentioned how happy I am that Muppet Babies have been brought back on Disney Jr.?)
For all of you who are like me and love the Muppets, some great news was released today. The Muppets will be making a return! Muppets Live Another Day will be exclusively on Disney+, the new video on demand service that will be launched. We do not have a launch date for this new streaming service yet. Hopefully, additional information will be released soon.
Muppets Live Another Day will take place after the events depicted in the 1984 movie, The Muppets Take Manhattan. Kermit disbands the gang however they must come back together following the mysterious disappearance of Rowlf. Muppets Live Another Day is created by Josh Gad of Frozen fame as well as Once Upon a Time’s Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
