New ‘The Lion King’ Dining Experience Coming to the Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny, Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship set to launch in late 2025, is bringing a brand-new, exclusive family dining experience to the high seas: Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King. This immersive restaurant will celebrate the iconic music and legendary moments of Disney’s beloved animated classic, “The Lion King.”

Inspired by the African savanna, the enchanting venue will feature unique depictions of animals and nature, brought to life through dynamic lighting and special effects. Large windows lining the back wall will transform, showcasing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets throughout the meal.
Guests will be treated to a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack while they dine. Live musicians and storytellers will take center stage, performing iconic songs like “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata” using authentic African instruments and theatrical props. The experience will also feature a fun mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared,” highlighting the film’s hero-villain dynamic.
Additionally, guests can anticipate an instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” accompanied by an interpretive dance, and a moving rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show.
