We found a special anniversary Magic Band while exploring the Disney Parks! It’s a limited edition Magic Band celebrating the 35th anniversary of Disney’s The Black Cauldron. The movie is certainly an underrated 80’s classic.
The box art showcases four of the movie’s main characters and the special 35th anniversary banner. The movie made its theatrical debut on July 24, 1985. You’ll see Taran, Princess Eilonwy, Gurgi, and the Horned King on the box art.
It’s a limited edition Magic Band with only 500 made, so collectors and Black Cauldron fans will have to keep an eye out for it!
One side of the Magic Band features the villainous Horned King and movie title.
The other side of the band features hero characters Taran and Gurgi.
The Magic Band is available for $34.99 at Walt Disney World Resort. We found ours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios though.
The Magic Band accessory can easily be used by guests to enter Disney theme parks. They can also be used for other purposes, such as scanning for PhotoPass photos at Disney World.
