New Lagoon Show “Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey” Announced for Halloween Horror Nights 34
Universal Orlando has just announced a brand-new lagoon show for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 34, and it’s already sending chills (and mist) through the fog! Titled Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey, this eerie new nighttime spectacle will rise from the depths of the Universal Studios Florida lagoon. Towering water screens, hauntingly immersive music, and ghostly storytelling projected on shimmering fountains will all combine to drench your soul in spooky delight.

The show was revealed via Universal’s official Halloween Horror Nights social channels, with the spine-tingling tease:
“A ghost story is rising from its watery grave to haunt the Universal Studios lagoon.”
While Universal hasn’t officially confirmed any storyline connections, many fans are already speculating that Haunt-O-Phonic could be a spiritual sequel to Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale—the fan-favorite lagoon show from HHN 31 in 2022. We wouldn’t be surprised if this new production builds on that haunted legacy with even more ghastly visuals and audio frights.
And this isn’t the only new nighttime entertainment Universal has cooked up in its cauldron. Just hours before the lagoon show reveal, Nightmare Fuel was confirmed to return with an all-new incarnation: Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay. Yes, that’s two nighttime shows promising to ignite your nightmares after sundown.
But wait—there’s s’more in store for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights:

Plus, don’t miss the new “street experiences” like Mel’s Die-In Zombies and Club Horror—serving undead DJs and zombie carhops with extra gore on the side.
🎃 Haunted Houses So Far:

- Grave of the Flesh
- Dolls: Let’s Play Dead

🕹️ And of course, we know that Five Nights at Freddy’s will creep into the event somehow… we just don’t know exactly how yet.
Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 are on sale now, but beware: Express add-ons are vanishing faster than a ghost in a graveyard fog machine. If you want to scream without the wait, now’s the time to grab what’s left.
