New Immersive Experiences and Exclusive Merch Inspired by “Wicked” Coming to Universal Orlando

Get ready to defy gravity this October as Universal Destinations & Experiences brings the magic of Wicked to life at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort! In celebration of Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated Wicked film, hitting theaters on November 22, both parks are unveiling immersive experiences that invite guests to step into the fantastical Land of Oz like never before.

At Universal Orlando Resort, the magic begins with Wicked: The Experience, launching in late October. Located just steps from the park’s entrance, this one-of-a-kind attraction will take fans on a journey down the yellow brick road, stopping at iconic locations from Wicked, like Shiz University and the Emerald City. Guests will have the chance to marvel at costumes and props from the movie, immersing themselves in the world of Glinda and Elphaba with dazzling scenery and memorable moments straight from the film.

Over at Universal Studios Hollywood, the Feature Presentation store and the UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk will undergo a Wicked transformation, showcasing props from the movie and offering a fun photo op inside the park. As the film’s release date nears, even more exciting Wicked costumes will be displayed at the Universal Cinema at CityWalk Hollywood, adding to the excitement.

But the fun doesn’t stop there—Wicked fans can indulge in themed dining experiences at Voodoo Doughnuts and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at both CityWalk locations, with limited-time treats inspired by the magic of Wicked. And, of course, there will be plenty of retail magic to explore! From exclusive apparel to toys, home goods, and even Wicked Funko Pops! and LEGO sets, guests can deck themselves out in gear featuring the Wicked logo, or grab back-to-school essentials with the Shiz University collection.
