New Image Released of the Marvel-Themed Area Coming to Walt Disney Studios Park!

Today, Disneyland Paris released a new image illustrating the recently announced, highly-anticipated Marvel-themed area coming to the Walt Disney Studios Park!

As part of €2 Billion, multi-year expansion plan, this immersive area will kick-start the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park. Allowing guests to encounter their favourite heroes in new and exciting ways, from meeting everyone’s neighbourhood hero Spider-Man to experiencing the mystic arts of Doctor Strange. Guests will also be transfixed by the latest in Pym Technology with Ant-Man and Wasp to leaping into action with Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther and Captain Marvel!

Disney will immerse guests into the Marvel-themed area through legendary storytelling, unforgettable heroic encounters, incredible new attractions such as the reimagined Rock’n’ Roller Coaster, as Iron Man will take guests on a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure. Guests will also experience more action and adventure than ever before in both indoor and outdoor shows and entertainment, a must do experience for all guests at Walt Disney Studios Park.

Guests do not have to wait for the opening of this new themed area, with the return of Marvel Season of Super-Heroes! Captain America, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Widow will return for a second season but in 2019, Captain Marvel and the beloved Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy will be joining the team here at Disneyland Paris! Beyond Walt Disney Studios Park, the Disneyland Paris Hotel New York will be reimagined to become Disney’s Hotel New York- The Art of Marvel in 2020, becoming the first Disney Hotel to showcase the exciting world of the Avengers.

Further exciting changes are also coming to Walt Disney Studios Park as a Spiderman Attraction will replace Armageddon, (closing April 1st, 2019), Ant-Man Restaurant will replace Restaurant des Stars, an Iron Man rollercoaster will replace Rock’n’ Roller Coaster and The Art of Disney Animation is closing permanently on 7th January 2019!

A Disney lover from across the pond (England). If I'm not in the parks, I'm dreaming of my next trip. My favourite Disney character is Simba and my favourite Disney ride would have to be Space Mountain!
