New Holiday Hollywood Tower Projection Show Debuts

The Holiday Season has arrived at Walt Disney World and that includes new projection shows! A set of projections is displayed on the Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the form of a modified “Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel” show.

After dark, the Hollywood Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard will light up with projection effects as it becomes the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel.

There are four scenes including a Muppets gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story toy hotel, a snowy corner of Arendelle and a Dickensian village inspired by “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.”

Typically the projection show on the Hollywood Tower Hotel would include “snow” filling the air as well as a series of sound effects. This year the scenes rotate without any musical queues or sound effects, just the classic Christmas music on Sunset Boulevard can be heard. This new projection show is still a joyful addition to the festive atmosphere at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
